Received doctorate ES Science in Energetic Physics from the University of Bechar-Algeria in 2010 and is currently teaching physics in the same university at faculty of exact sciences, department of sciences of matter. She became professor in 2018, She involves her students in semiconductor devices physics, solar cells, and organic semiconductors fields. Her professional interests focus on the simulation and modeling of charge carrier transport in semiconductor (organic/inorganic) devices and Phyto-remediation wastewater treatment. In addition, she serves as chief of PhD-LMD project titled ‘’Renewable energy and Sciences of matter’’ at the University of Bechar-Algeria and became the Director and team-chief of laboratory semiconductor devices physics (LPDS-University of Bechar-Algeria) in 2021. Reviewer in Journal of electronic material (Springer–ISSN 0361-5235) since 2018.

Prof. Ahmed KETTAB

International Consultant Expert in Water and Environment (Algeria)

Professor Ahmed KETTAB: international expert consultant in Water and Environment, Professor Director of Research at the National Polytechnic School in Algeria. The first Founder Member of WATMED; Member of the international water committee, member of the French Water Academy, he is also a member of the French Water Partnership (PFE). Founding Member of the Arab Water Council. Founding Member of the Arab Water Council. He was also director of the Water Sciences Research Laboratory. Doctor-Engineer from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine in 1981 in Nancy-France specializing in Hydraulics/Water treatment, then he get his PhD from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers (ENP) in 1990. Doctor Poste at the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (France). University head; Advisor to Ministers; Board member of several businesses and corporations. No less than 150 international publications, 15 summary works (books), more than 100 international plenary conferences, more than 500 scientific presentations/communications, 100 technical - administrative reports, several international expert reports; 30 PhDs supervised and supported, more than twenty magisters supervised and supported, several hundred engineers supervised and trained. His works were awarded Laureate at the 3rd edition of Scopus Awards Algeria 2013 (Environmental Science-water). Prof. Abdelkrim MERAD

Professor at Belkaid University of Tlemcen, Algeria.

He received the D.E.S degree in theoretical physics in 1996, the Magister Diploma in Energetic Physics and Materials in 2000, the Doctorate of Sciences in Materials Physics in 2004 and the Ability to Direct Research in 2005 from the A Belkaid University of Tlemcen. In 2001, he joined the Department of Physics, University A Belakid of Tlemcen, as a Lecturer and joined the Unity of Research in Materials and Renewable Energies of Tlemcen. He became an Associate Professor in 2005, and a professor in 2012. Prof. Merad became an associate researcher member of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) of Trieste, Italy in 2006. Since 2007 until now, he is Chief of Solid-State Physics Team at the Theoretical Physics Laboratory of A Belkaid University of Tlemcen. His current research interests include DFT calculation of structural, electronic, optical, magnetic properties of semiconductors doped with magnetic and rare earth elements, heterostructures and superlattices, magnetic perovskites and ferroelectrics-based oxide materials, magnetocaloric properties, perovskites and CIGS based solar cells, simulation and modelling of solar cells and panels. Prof. Merad has authored approximately 50 scientific publications, books’ chapters, and books. He has also edited a research book.

AC, MNAE (US),  FAA, FTSE, FTWAS, FNAI, FNA, FNAE, FASc, FAPAS, FEurASc, FNASc,Research School of Physics, The Australian National University Canberra, ACT 2601, Australia, Semiconductors have played an important role in the development of information and communications technology, solar cells, solid state lighting.  Nanowires are considered as building blocks for the next generation electronics and optoelectronics.  In this talk, I will present the results on optoelectronic devices such as lasers/LEDs, THz detectors, energy devices such as solar cells, photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting and Neuro-electrodes.  Prospects of the semiconductor nanowires will be discussed. Professor Jagadish is a Distinguished Professor and Head of Semiconductor Optoelectronics and Nanotechnology Group in the Research School of Physics, Australian National University.  Prof. Jagadish is the Editor-in-Chief of Applied Physics Reviews (IF:19.162), Editor of 3 book series and serves on editorial boards of 19 other journals.  He has published more than 1000 research papers (710 journal papers), holds 6 US patents, co-authored a book, co-edited 15 books and edited 12 conference proceedings and 20 special issues of Journals. He is a fellow of 11 Science and Engineering Academies (US, Australia, Europe, India) and 14 Professional Societies (IEEE, MRS, APS…).  He received many awards including IEEE Pioneer Award in Nanotechnology, IEEE Photonics Society Engineering Achievement Award, OSA Nick Holonyak Award, IUMRS Somiya Award, UNESCO medal for his contributions to the development of nanoscience and nanotechnologies and Lyle medal from Australian Academy of Science for his contributions to Physics. He has received Australia’s highest civilian honor, AC, Companion of the Order of Australia, for his contributions to physics and engineering, in particular nanotechnology.  He has been elected as President of the Australian Academy of Science and he is the first Australian of Indian heritage in this role.

Prof. Tse Nga (Tina) NG

University of California, San Diego USA

received her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Cornell University under the guidance of Professor John Marohn. Shen then joined Palo Alto Research Cener where she led the development of printed sensor platforms (a joint project between PARC and ThinFilm Electronics) -- which was awarded the 2012 FLEXI Innovation Award and named Runner-Up of Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Award in 2012. Subsequently Dr. Ng joined University of California San Diego in 2016. Her research involves flexible electronics patterned by printing instead of traditional photolithography. She is a Hartwell Investigator on biomedical devices for spasticity assessment and has been awarded second place in the 2017 Bell Lab Prize Competition for her work in organic short wave infrared detection. In 2021, she is elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors in the USA. Currently she served on the editorial board for the IEEE Journal of Flexible Electronics, IOP journal Flexible and Printed Electronics, and ACS Applied Electronic Materials.

Prof. Luca VARANI

Professor at the University of Montpellier, France.

Luca Varani (Ph.D. in physics in 1993, Ph.D. in electronics in 1996) is professor at the University of Montpellier since 2006. His main research activities are in transport phenomena with a special attention, since more than 15 years, to the terahertz frequency applications. He has been supervisor of 25 PhD thesis, member of the scientific/advisory committees of 6 international conferences and chairman of 3 international conferences. He has been a head of the research group TeHO (TeraHertz, High-Frequency and Optics, 14 researchers) and head of TeraLab-Montpellier (12 researchers), a scientific platform agreed by CNRS and specialised in terahertz science. He is author/co-author of about 400 scientific articles in refereed journals and conference proceedings.

Dr. Lotfi RAHAL

RAHAL Lotfi MD, university hospital assistant in clinical physiology and functional metabolic exploration at the Faculty of Medicine of Bechar / Public Hospital Establishment of Bechar. Prof. Adel MELLIT

Professor at the University of Jijel, Algeria

He received his M.S. Degree and PhD in Electronics from the University of Sciences Technologies (USTHB) Algiers in 2002 and 2006 respectively. In 2002, he joined the Institute of Technology, Medea University, Algeria. Since January 2008, he is with   Electronics at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Jijel University, Algeria where he was an Assistant Professor, became an Associate Professor in 2008, and a professor in 2013. Research interests of Adel Mellit focus on the application of artificial intelligence techniques, including machine learning deep learning in photovoltaic systems and microgrids. He has authored and co-authored 170 papers in international peer reviewed journals and papers in conference proceedings, six book chapters, two proceedings book and two books (Springer and Elsevier). He is the Director of the Renewable Energy Laboratory at Jijel University and is an Associate Member at the ICTP Trieste (Italy). He is serving as an Editor of IEEE journal of photovoltaic, a Subject Editor for the Energy Journal (Elsevier Ltd) and he is a member of the editorial board of the Renewable Energy Journal (Elsevier Ltd).

Dr. Chibuisi C. OKORIEIMOH

Scholl of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Dublin Energy Lab Technological University Dubli, Dublin Ireland.

Chibuisi C. Okorieimoh was born in Nsukka in Enugu State, Nigeria, in 1984. He received a Diploma in Computer and Basic Physical Sciences, DCBPS and B.Sc. (Ed). degree in Physics both from the University of Nigeria, in 2006 and 2011 respectively.  He also possessed an M.Sc. (Mobility) in Applied Physics at the University of Valladolid, Spain, M.Sc. in Solar Energy Physics and Material Science at the University of Nigeria in 2017 and 2018 respectively. He is currently finalizing his PhD degree in electrical and electronic engineering (with a specialty in Solar Energy Applications) at the Technological University Dublin, Republic of Ireland. In 2019, he joined the School of Multidisciplinary Technologies, College of Engineering and Built Environment at the Technological University Dublin, as a Lecturer. His current research interests’ centers on Solar Energy Applications, Energy Efficiency, Energy Management, and Nanoscience/Thin films.  Chibuisi is a Member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and a Member of the Teachers Union of Ireland (TUI). He was a Global Teacher Award Winner in 2019. In 2021, two of his research papers titled: 1. “Comparison of Predicted and Measured Annual Performance of a Roof-Top Grid-Connected PV System in the Irish Climate”. And 2.“Reviewing the External Factors that Influence PV Output Performance in the Irish Climate” won the best papers award in the category of Energy and Buildings at the Sustainable Ecological Engineering Design for Society (SEEDS) International Conference 2021 held at the Leeds Beckett University, England. He is a reviewer of Springer Nature and Journal of Modern Civil Engineering. His research works have gained several citations.

Dr. Fathia CHEKIRED

Scientific researcher in Solar Equipment Development Unit, Algeria

Dr. Chekired Fathia is a scientific researcher in Solar Equipment Development Unit (UDES)/Renewable Energy Development Center (CDER) since 2009. She received his degree in Electronic Engineering from Jijel University (Algeria) in 2006 and his MSc degree in electronics (Option: Solar Electricity) and her PhD from the National Polytechnic School (ENP), Algiers in 2008 and 2014 respectively. She is actually The team leader of “application of photovoltaic equipemnts”. She worked in several scientific research projects in UDES. Research interests of  Dr. Chekired Fathia focus on the optimization of photovoltaic systems. She focuses also in their research works on the development of intelligent energy management systems in the solar houses and their automation. She has authored and co-authored several technical papers in the national and international conferences and journals. She is also a member in several national and international projects.

Dr. Wahiba MOKRANE

Higher National School for Hydraulics, Algiers, Algeria.

She received the State engineer diploma in Hydraulic from the University of Siences and Technology Houari Boumedien,  Algiers, Algeria, in 1992, and the Magister. and Doctorate  in Sciences  Degrees in Hydraulics from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers, Algeria, in 1996 and 2021, respectively. In 1997, she joined the Department of Hydraulic, University Mustapha Stambouli, of Mascara, as a Master Assistant, and in 1998 joined the Higher National School for Hydraulics, as teacher researcher and became a Lecturer. Since December 1998, she has been with the Department of hydraulic specialties, then with the Urban hydraulic Department. Her current research interests include hydraulic power, pumping systems, cavitation, turbulence and multiphase flow. Dr. Mokrane was an administration board member and is member of the quality assurance unit of the Higher National School for Hydraulics.  Since 1997, she has participated in many national and international conferences and has been research team leader. 

Prof. Mounir AKSAS

Higher National School of Renewable Energy, Environment &Sustainable Development, Batna, Algeria

He received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical Engineering from the University of Batna, Algeria, in 1995, his M.S and Ph.D. degrees in Energy Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Romania in 1998 and 2001 respectively. From 2002 to 2007 he has taught mathematics at the high School “Le Touar/NAFVECO” in Toulon, France. Since 2007, he has been an Assistant Professor and then full Professor in 2015 at the University of Batna 1, Algeria, where he has taught Renewable Energy Resources & Technologies and Applied Fluid Mechanics. Since April 2021, he is a Deputy Director in charge of doctoral training, scientific research and technological development, innovation and the promotion of entrepreneurship of Higher National School of Renewable Energy, Environment & Sustainable Development (RE2=SD). His research interests are in the Thermal Solar Systems and applications (Solar water heating, cooling solar technologies and Heat Pumping technologies) and Modeling of Renewable Energy Systems. Dr. AKSAS is author or co-author of several scientific articles in international journals and conferences, He had supervised in this field several Master and Ph.D. defended thesis.

Prof. Safia TALEB

Professor at Djillali Liabès University of Sidi Bel-Abbès, Algeria.

Mrs. TALEB Safia "Doctor –Es Sciences" from   Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), in Belgium. Currently, she is Professor of Chemistry and Head of the Materials & Catalysis Laboratory at the Faculty of Exact Sciences, in Djillali Liabès University of Sidi Bel-Abbès (Algeria). Her areas of research concern Wastewater treatment   by porous natural materials, clays and their hybrids, Applied Analytical Chemistry, Water quality, Public health and the Environment. Professor TALEB Safia is also a member of the Scientific Reading Committee of several national and international scientific journals.

Prof. Fouad KHALDI

Higher National School of Renewable Energy, Environment &Sustainable Development, Batna, Algeria.

Fouad Khaldi was born in Khenchela, Algeria, in 1973. He received the B.Eng. degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Oum El Bouagui, Algeria, in 1996, and the Master and Ph.D. degrees in Energy Engineering from the Grenoble Institute of Technology, Grenoble, France, in 2000 and 2004, respectively. In 2007 he joined the Department of Physics, University of Batna, Algeria, as an Assistant Professor, then an Associate Professor, and in 2014 became a Professor. Since April 2021, he has been with the Higher National School of Renewable Energy, Environment &Sustainable Development, Batna. His current research interests include the design and optimization of energy systems, i.e. solar thermal power plants, heat pumps, integration of solar energy in buildings, internal combustion engine. He has many years of teaching experience in Applied Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Modeling and Design of Energy Systems.

Prof. Rabia Sa’id

Bayero University in Kano, Nigeria.

Rabia Sa’id is a Professor of Physics at Bayero University in Kano, Nigeria. She holds a PhD, M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Physics from the same university and an M.Sc. in Environment and Development from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. She is one of the winners of the Elsevier Foundation/OWSD (EF-OWSD Awards) for Early Career Women Scientists in the Developing World in 2015. She is very passionate about Girl-child education, girls’ and women’s access to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. She is a co-founder of the Women in STEM for Africa (WIS4Africa) and the Kano Women in Science. She was a 2020 Fellow at the James Martin Center for non-proliferation Studies (CNS at Monterey). She was featured in Nature (The international Weekly Journal of Science) and in the BBC Radio Program: Discovery Science. She is also listed on the BBC 100 inspirational women of 2015. Again, featured as one of 100 Women in Tech in Nigeria on the International Women's Day 2020 (@100WomenInTechNigeria). She is one of 10 women that won the 2021 CRDF grant for a theme project: “Building Networks Among Women to Share Best Practices and Experience Working in Nuclear Security and Nonproliferation.

Prof. Leila ALIOUANE

Professor at University of Boumerdes

Leila ALIOUANE is a Professor in Geophysics at the Faculty of Hydrocarbon and Chemistery - University M'hamed Bougara of Boumerdès (UMBB) and Doctor in Geophysics in 2013 from University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumedienne (USTHB).Currently she is a Director of the Research Laboratory of Earth Physics (Labophyt) since January 2021 and head of a research team working in reservoir characterization from seismic and well-logs data using artificial intelligence. She is the author of several publications and communications. Her main area of interest is reservoir characterization in petroleum and geothermal exploration.

Prof. Abdelghani BOUBEKRI

Professor University of Ouargla, Algeria.

Abdelghani BOUBEKRI was born on September 1964 in the city of Temacine, Algeria. He received the diploma of engineer in mechanical engineering from ENPA (Algiers) in 1987. He got his Magister 1996 and PhD 2010 from Batna university. In 1990, he joined the Department of mechanical engineering at Biskra university, as Assistant Professor. In 1997 he joined the university of Ouargla as lecturer researcher. He became Associate Professor in 2010 and professor full at the same university in 2014. He has published more than 60 papers as articles in highly impacted scientific journals (Energy and conversion management, Drying technology, Renewable energy, Energy, Solar energy, Sustainable energy technologies and assessments, Journal of food process engineering, etc ..), scientific communications in international conferences and seminars as well as book chapters. Since 1998, he has supervised several end-of-study engineering and master's projects in energy engineering. He also supervised 10 PhD theses in the fields of thermal sciences, particularly solar drying. He participated as a reviewer in several scientific journals as well as he contributed to the expertise procedures of research projects and doctoral training offers organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Algeria.

Prof DRAOUI Belkacem has been Professor of engineering Sciences in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Tahri Mohamed Bechar University since 1996. Keynote : Thermal and Building Physics improve the energy efficiency of thermal comfort. Control and management of the micoclimate in greenhouses . Solar Energy Professor DRAOUI Belkacem in currently working as a professor in the mechanical engineering sector within the faculty of Technology at Tahri Mohamed Bechar University, Algeria. He obtained his doctorate in Engineering Sciences. Option : Energetics from the University of Nice Sohia Antipolis, French in 194. Pr DRAOUI Belkacem is the autor of more than 212 peer-reviewed papers, including 148 papers of quality journals, 04 peer-reviewed books chapters and four books. His articles have attracted more than 2574 citations with an h-index of 24. In addation to teaching and supervising engineers, Magisters, Masters and Doctoral students, Pr DRAOUI Belkacem supervised 25 doctoral students until the end and supervises currently 04 doctoral students. Since March 2022 to present day : Member of the National Council for Scientific Research and Technologies. From 2016 to March 2022 : Vice Rector in charge of Development, Prospective and Orientation. From 2009 to 2014 : Vice Dean in charge of Post graduation and Scientific reaserch. 2011 to 2017 : Director of a Research Laboratory (Energetic in Arid Zones) bringing together 6 teams where I managed a subtantial capital between aquipment and operation.
